| Longtime fans of the Velaslavasay Panorama, an exhibition space for experimental film, puppet theater, and other visual delights in downtown Los Angeles (including a carnivorous plant garden), we were thrilled to print their 2007 holiday card. The mailer, designed by the wonderful Sara Velas, included a calendar marking the year of the rat and a song to the north wind.

| Especially in today’s world, reading a hand written note or thank you reaches us on a primal level conveying a sense of community and care. Louise Robertson’s note cards are a fine example of how stationery can strengthen the message. The design, colors and rich paper are so “Louise.” She chose from many “clean, Victorian” motifs to create her best expression. |
